12:52 am - i finished the snood!
I just finshed knitting my snood! hooray!
i am so wearing it right now
...i do feel a bit like that episode of The Big Bang Theory, when Sheldon -the one that looks like a praying mantis- goes a bit mental after being sacked and for some reason i think builds a loom... and wanders aimlessly around his flat wearing some sort of hooded poncho...  On another note, I went to go and finally get contacts today... this is a move i am not too sure about, as i think i have quite a dull face which, much like howard moon's needs accesorising to bring it out a bit and i cannot grow a moustache easily... so the specs were kind of the only option. ( le sigh )

Okay, so I had to move house again on Saturday.
I don't even want to discuss it.
I spent most of my Friday packing time making my sister a "mugwump" for her 27th birthday so I had to stay up all night sorting out all my shit.
( ...a mugwump is a sort of sockmonster. )

This is just a duplication of the video i posted in Robinhood bbc
I didn't ship Robin/Marian at all but their ending... it got to me.
The basic premise of the vid is that ghost!Marian is still hanging around feeling more and more forgotten.
When I watch it back I get the impression Marian isn't adjusting to ghostly life very well...and sort of wants a snog.
Anyway, she realises that Robin DOES love her afterall...even if he doesn't always RYDW And that no matter what he does she will love him.
The spyglass shots are supoosed to be memories.

OKAY TROOPS I THINK WE CAN ALL ACCEPT THAT THERE HAVE BEEN SOME SERIOUS FLAWS IN THIS SEASON OF ROBIN HOOD. DON'T GET ME WRONG! THERE HAS BEEN PJ AND GISBORNE ANGST A PLENTY AND A CENTRAL CHARACTER SO INNEPT AND IRRITATING THAT WE ALL CAME THAT BIT CLOSER TOGETHER TO HATE HER AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT BERTHA SPOILERS AFTER THE JUMP  ( RIGARDLESS OF THESE GEMS... Okay I know I said I was doing a 'post a day'
but I have been promising to finish BETA-ing a chapter for![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) betty_eyes for about two weeks now.
And I don't think I can really justify in my head writing long posts about ... whatever, when I promised to BETA.
Ah, I may be never hit a deadline but at least I feel bad about it.
That was always my saving grace at school.
That and the fact I made damn sure all my teachers thought I had a crush on them.
They are much less inclined to spend time disciplining you if they think that at any moment you might throw yourself at them and have them put on a register.

10:15 am - Wank versus Secrets
I'm sure you all know about Fandom Wank.
For those under-rock-dwellers that don't: it's a *point and laugh* type comm in which Wankas *point and laugh* at the dramtics and spac-outs of Wankers in various fandoms.
I first found it a couple of months ago - after some extremely shameful google searches that I'd really rather nobody ever knew about
Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History>Delete All.
And I got quite into it. Afterall internets bitchyness is WIN and it was fun reading about past wanks and about all the terms like MSTing and I thought what the wiki posters had to say about various Harry Potter ships and Twilight was hillarious. I like the way they write, I like the slightly cliquey lingo that you can see you spending all afternoon trying to find out where the frack it comes from.
"Bar tending in the dark" for example.
And Snapes Wives..... ah you will each have a place in the dark little corner of my mind where I push all the horrific things that I do my British Best to repress.
Just behind "walking in" on my mother and step-father.... *shudders*
I never got round to joining journelfen as I always seem to arrive too late to the party to comment anyway. Regardless of this, I thought of myself as a Fandom wank kind of a girl. A lurker, yes, but a Wanka all the same.
... Until I found Fandom Secrets!
I don't have a bloody clue what half of them are even about wtf is Yaoi? but I still enjoy reading about the OP's somehow shameful thoughts on them. I get a bit sick of the inevitable Supernatural secrets and endless wank about Star Trek but when there are people shipping Google with Firefox? Oh I can so deal with the tedium of Wincest.
I like reading about people's ships, their OTP's and slash goggles. My favourite secrets are the "s/he's my rolemodel" ones with "I judge you" running a close second. I like the sweet and silly Secrets as much as I do the cross and wanky ones. I love them all.
I have to say I am pretty surprised by this turn of events. I would have thought I would like mocking from my ivory tower much more than gossiping down at the well... but apparently not!

After the fun I had last Saturday, I have decided to make my predictions a weekly thing.
Although I have to say, it was a massive dissapointment when I found out the Gladiator battle was just some travelling circus and not a death match between Guy and Bobbin.
Also very upset at the lack of Locksley wide orgy.
And, seriously, where the fuck is Marian? It's beyond a joke now. Even Zombie!maz should have dragged her undead arse back to Sherwood by now. Grrrrr.
